In 2003, the 56th Canadian Legion was based on Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and its Spearhead and Breakthrough expansions. Around January 2004, they switched to Call of Duty and its United Offensive expansion. They switched to Call of Duty 2 soon after release, which was October 25, 2005. This severely split up the clan. Many were not able to run CoD2. Clan activity took a big hit, and many eventually left. By February 2006, only the few dedicated members were left, and on August 13, 2006, the game server was shut down. Sometime in September 2006 the website was shutdown, and TeamSpeak followed in early October 2006. The clan was officially dead.
Great times were had, especially the Killapalooza….
Unfortunately I am not able to access the roster; the Wayback Machine did not save more than the main page. I will do my best to re-create it here. Help me out and list those who I have missed.

I just picked up CoD4 and wanted to see if any of my old clan mates from the original CoD were still up and runnin. I remember most of u guys on the roster, but I dont see Vosh or Ozy :(. Whats everyone up to?

The roster is a work in progress. It’s unaccessible along with the whole website, and I can’t find a cache or archive of it on either Google or the Wayback Machine. I’ll add them right now.

Wow, I just remembered about the clan just now, and I was hoping to pop in, and give a good ‘ol “Surprise!” hello to everyone, but I guess not. I’m sad to see that it’s disbanded… good memories, definitely.

So this crazy bastard came over to my house looking for a web developer. He drank my beer, then he said “I saw a 56th post online a while ago”. So we looked, and here’s Lee and a bunch of others! And there’s me second from the top of the list, right after the crazy beer drinking bastard that brought this to my attention!
There’s gotta be enough bandwidth somewhere to run CoD right? I will investigate firing up a server for good times! hehe
