The following are quotes that I made up:
“Accuracy is dependent on the skill of the shooter; precision is dependent on the quality of the weapon.” – Christopher D. Lee
“Ducimus, facta non verba (We lead with deeds, not words)” – a compilation of two Canadian Forces mottos
“When the blind lead the blind you’ll get chopped up by the Hind.” – Christopher D. Lee
This one is a play on one of Shakespeare’s quotes.“Don’t burn rice; eat it.” – Christopher D. Lee
A reference to “rice burners”, a car that’s all show and no go.“Stock, lock, and chalk.” – Christopher D. Lee
I was trying to invent a variation of lock and load, and lock stock and barrel, and came up with this. Of course, stock refers to loading the magazine, and lock means cycling the bolt to stock a fresh round. I use chalk to mean to join up with the unit they’re deploying with. More like “Don’t burn rice… SLAUGHTER IT! *maniacal laughter*”
Howdy, Chris!
